Just A Reminder....Film Festival Tomorrow

HUB-BUB presents the "From Here to Awesome" Showcase Film Festival every Thursday night at 7:30 p.m., starting August 7 and ending October 2. Each week another short and feature length film will be screened and the public is invited to attend these FREE showings. Independent films competed to be one of the select films shown at theaters and other venues like The Showroom worldwide. For updates and more insight check out this blog. "From Here to Awesome" is the brainchild of Arin Crumley, a filmmaker who did a three-week residency at HUB-BUB in May 2008. *17 and over admitted.

FEATURE Charlie: A man who has failed in love and continually destroyed the lives of the people he loves most embarks on an emotional journey to discover where he went wrong. After seeing another man’s car parked in his driveway, Charlie becomes convinced that his wife is having an affair. Determined to discover the truth behind the stranger he has transformed into, he seeks out his ex-girlfriend and enters a disastrous confrontation with his best friend. As Charlie’s journey sends him reeling through the streets, he sets out in search of a stranger in hopes of making some kind of emotional connection.

SHORT : I F*ING HATE YOU: Sabi Pictures presents the breakthrough performances of John T. Woods and Marion Kerr in this raw, compelling glimpse into a young man’s ill-conceived scheme to redeem himself in the eyes of his ex-girlfriend.
